Patients on long-term medication and approved for repeat prescriptions can place orders in the following ways:
- Online using EMIS Patient Access - https://patient.emisaccess.co.uk If you have access to the Internet this is the most convenient way to order your prescription. It allows you to track and check the status of your request. To register for this service please visit the Practice to arrange an online account.
- In person/post - tick the items required on the computerised repeat slip and forward it to the surgery.
- At your local Pharmacy - tick the items required on the computerised repeat slip and hand into your local Pharmacy.
Please notify the Surgery of your chosen Pharmacy if you wish your prescription to go straight to them to dispense.
Patients wanting their prescription posted to them should include a stamped addressed envelope with the request.
**Please note we do not accept requests for repeat medication over the telephone. **
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
Please allow two full working days for prescriptions to be processed, if collecting from a Pharmacy please allow an extra working day and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account.
